Grants for Non-Profits
For FY 2020-2021, the following grants have been awarded to the following organizations in the amount of $138,800.

Manhattan Beach Community Counseling Center   $8,200
Individual and group mental health counseling for low-income Beach Cities residents

Positive Coaching Alliance   $7,500
Character building exercises and social emotional learning tools for youth, coaches and parents at camps, schools, and/or after-school programs

The Salvation Army Meals on Wheels   $50,000
Home delivered meals for home-bound seniors and disabled adults in the Beach Cities

Manhattan Beach CERT   $5,500
Free CPR training for beach cities residents

South Bay Children’s Health Center   $25,000
Individual and group counseling for students during the summer

Cancer Support Community   $20,000
Support groups and counseling for individuals and their families who are confronting cancer

Redondo Beach Rotary Vision to Learn   $4,000
Eye exams and prescription eyeglasses for low income students in Redondo Beach Unified School District

Our Village   $11,100
Social-emotional support for children ages 4-11

South Bay Bicycle Coalition    $7,500
Bicycle Safety internship program for high school students


Micro-Enrichment Grants
The Micro-Enrichment Grant applications for FY20-21 were awarded to six  projects in the amount of $26,500.00. The Micro-Enrichment Grant funding cycle for FY 21-22 will open in October 2021.

South Bay Arts Collective   $5,000
Launching a Creative Wisdom Tool Program, merging together the therapeutic arts, healing arts, and movement arts

Leadership Hermosa Beach   $5,000
Accessibility and Restoration of the Valley Park Picnic Area

Xavier Dargan   $5,000
Launching a special one-year monthly “Music, community & culture” event series to connect our community through music and its like to major cultural world holidays

South Bay Parkland Conservatory   $5,000
The Redondo Beach Community Garden (RBCG) project  - a grassroots effort organized by the South Bay Parkland Conservancy to establish the first official community garden for the city of Redondo Beach

Breastfeed LA   $1,500
Creating culturally responsive lactation support for new families

Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation   $5,000
Launching the COVID-19 Healthcare Workers Therapy Program
