Free Skin Cancer Screenings Offered By Redondo Beach Dermatologist

Free skin cancer screenings, sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology and Luminous Skin Dermatology, will be held July 21 from 9am to 6pm at Dr. Alexandria Booth's Office at 119 West Torrance Blvd, Suite 7 in Redondo Beach.
The screenings are part of a national campaign to encourage early detection and teach prevention of skin cancer. More than 1 million new cases of skin cancer will be diagnosed in the United States this year.
The Academy’s national Melanoma/Skin Cancer Screening prevention program is in its 27th year and is intended to raise awareness of melanoma and urge Americans to regularly examine their skin for signs of this serious form of skin cancer.
