What do you enjoy most about your work?

I really enjoy the Center For Health & Fitness (CHF) environment—the members and staff are fun to be around and it truly energizes and motivates me. It’s awesome to see people bettering themselves and it makes working with everyone that much easier. Most of all, I love that our staff is like a big family.

What is your fitness philosophy?

I look to “Kaizen,” which is the Japanese philosophy for continual development and improvement. There is always something that we can improve in our lives that goes beyond our physical health. I believe in starting with improving our mental strength and how we view challenges. Then, when we charge toward our goals, we are better prepared for any obstacle that we encounter.

What led you to choose this field?

I was fascinated by science and really wanted to help people in fact, I had tried other fields, but couldn’t see myself working in them in the long run. I always knew I would be working to help people and my major led me to this path.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love being active through sports and other recreational activities. Volleyball, basketball, rock climbing and hiking are some of my favorites. I also love Anime and video games, so I consider myself an active geek!

Are you involved in any charity/community work?

I volunteer with the Pure Water Movement, which aims to provide clean water to underprivileged communities around the world. I assist with donations.
