AdventurePlex Summer Camp Volunteers
AdventureCamp volunteers will help keep children energized and engaged throughout the summer with fun and educational activities, like arts and crafts classes, gardening lessons, rock-climbing and ropes course sessions. This summer opportunity will kick off with a volunteer orientation on June 18th. Application and screening required prior to orientation.

Help our seniors get moving! MoveWell In-Home Exercise Volunteers Needed
Help our frailer community members become stronger and healthier, and contribute to increased independence by becoming a volunteer for the new MoveWell In-Home Exercise program. You'll be matched with a client t assist them with their tailored exercise plan. Under the supervision of the MoveWell specialist, volunteers will start out working with them in their homes, then begin following up via telephone. Ongoing training and supervision provided.

Friend to Friend Volunteers
Join this corps of volunteers providing weekly social visits to our isolated and homebound residents. You'll provide a missing and desperately needed link to the community. In many instances, Friend-to-Friend volunteers are the only outside contact our clients will have. Participate in an all-day training with professional staff on Saturday, April 24. Ongoing training and supervision provided.

Executive Volunteer Program
Give back to your community by volunteering your professional expertise on a project-specific basis. BCHD has many challenging, professional level projects where a subject-matter expert could greatly contribute!

Not sure where to volunteer?
Join our staff for an informal information session to learn the BCHD story and the services we offer to the community.

Volunteers are BCHD ambassadors and we want each to understand our unique agency's mission, core values and key services. Join over 800 volunteers who have chosen to give back to the community by participating in one of over 20 BCHD volunteer programs. All walk-in sessions are held on the 3rd floor Board Room from 1-3pm on the following dates:

Monday, March 29

Tuesday, April 27

Monday, May 24
