Arthritis Foundation Exercise Class*
Participants work on joint flexibility, muscle strength, relieving stiffness and improving posture. 12 weeks.
Step II
This is a great cardiovascular workout. It maintains heart rates in working zones as well as being anaerobic. Participants focus on coordinating as many steps as are called out during class.
Step & Low
This is a great cardiovascular class combining the use of steps and floor work. It challenges participants to focus on coordination and takes them into different heart rate zones.
Cycle/Sculpt
This class is 30 minutes of interval cardiovascular training on the bike followed by 30 minutes of muscle balance and strength work.
Cyclin'
This is an interval cardiovascular training class. One of the many benefits of this class is challenging participants to improve their cardio endurance.
Power Cycle/Core
This class takes advanced cycling students on a higher cardiovascular intensity ride followed by 30 minutes of core work focusing on building strength to the midsection of the body.
Core Board
This class involves strength training with a focus on body awareness and neutral positioning while moving.
Low & Sculpt
This class is a combination of cardiovascular conditioning and strength training.
50+ Aerobics
This class is designed for participants who are 50 and older. It offers lower intensity cardiovascular training and light resistance training.
50+ Aerobics/Ball
This class gives you 30 minutes of lower intensity cardiovascular training followed by 30 minutes of strength training using the fitball.
Body Sculpt
This class builds muscle strength and muscle definition through hand weights, bands, balls and barbells.
Stretching
This class uses static stretching to promote muscular balance and relieve stress.
Stretching/Foam Roller
This class performs static stretching and full body rolling on the foam roller to promote self- myofascial release.
Foam Roller Stretch/Strength
This class focuses on self-myofascial release and building muscle strength and balance using the foam roller.
Circuit
This is an interval cardiovascular class with muscle strengthening and endurance.
Core Stability
This class combines the stability ball, core board and BOSU ball to maximize core strength.
Fall Prevention*
For those 50 and up who may be at risk for falling, this class includes both lectures and exercise, with a focus on strengthening the muscles that correspond to posture and balance.
Tai Chi*
Ease yourself into improved flexibility, balance and strength by practicing Sun style tai chi. 12-week session.
Tai Chi for Overcoming Arthritis*
Ease yourself into improved flexibility, balance and strength by practicing Sun style Tai Chi. 12 weeks.
Feldenkrais: Align the Spine*
Increase spinal flexibility, reduce muscle tightness and aches. Be more aware of postural and movement habits for greater back comfort. Presented by R.P.T., guild certified Feldenkrais practitioner. 8 week session.
Rep Reebok
Strength training focus rotates through endurance, strength and power cycles. 6-week session.
Zumba
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music and dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.
Belly Dancing
Learn the beauty of this ancient Middle Eastern dance while receiving an excellent workout. 6-week session.
Swing, Latin Ballroom*
Basic moves will get you gliding across the dance floor. Singles and couples welcome. Dress comfortably and wear flat or leather-soled shoes. 6-week session.
Turbo Treadmill
This fun class will challenge your cardio vascular endurance by using varied speeds and incline levels. Your instructor will motivate you and monitor your heart rate levels to maximize your calories burned.
Ballet Fusion
Class that combines barre work, mat work (to build core strength) and light weights with continual fat-burning motion. This is a conditioning class that builds strength, alignment and elongated through breath, ballet drills and bar technique.
