Eating Disorders
A support group for adult women, ages 18 and over in recovery from anorexia, bulimia, and other related disorders. Group participants meet weekly to share their experiences and learn from one another in their journey to health and wellness. The family-like atmosphere encourages open discussion of topics such as body image, self-esteem, nutrition, exercise, relationships, mental health issues, coping skills and much more. The group facilitator, Laura Reighley, MSW, is a clinical social worker specializing in eating disorders and attachment issues in childhood. Ms. Reighley brings her own personal experience of recovery from anorexia nervosa, along with more than 11 years of professional experience in the eating disorder field. Whether beginning or continuing the journey toward recovery, this forum will help you connect with others to prevent relapse, strengthen self-esteem and improve goal-setting. The Gathering Place (Bereavement)
The Gathering Place is a center for loss and life transition. Through this affiliate of BCHD, adults and children can find healing, strength and confidence while dealing with the death of a loved one.
